This one's going to the Supreme Court! On Tuesday, a federal appeals court ruled that California's controversial Proposition 8 (a.k.a. Prop 8) ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. The decision upheld Judge Vaughn Walker's original 2010 ruling, and means that the U.S. Supreme Court could rule on gay marriage as early as next year.
